TIFFANY STUDIOS TURTLEBACK DIVER’S HELMET LAMP. Extremely rare desk lamp begins with a circular bronze pedestal foot that supports turtleback tiles in the shape of a diver’s helmet. The turtleback tiles are a beautiful butterscotch hue with an ethereal clambroth coloration with both colors having a handsome iridescent finish. Lamp is completed with a bronze hammered loop handle with open work beneath. A single socket is used for the proper illumination of this lamp. Signed on the underside “Tiffany Studios New York 5094” and also has the Tiffany Glass and Decorating logo. A similar example of this lamp is pictured in Tiffany At Auction by Alastar Duncan on page 96, plate 262. SIZE: Overall 10-1/2″ t.
