FASCINATING ARTICULATED OWL DECOY. The carved owl body having realistic brown paint with spots and yellow and black glass eyes. There is an attached spring driven mechanism that has strings attached to each wing leading to a central ring below body which is tied off to one string. When pulled the wings move up and down. At one time, the back of the body was covered with actual feathers along with the two wings covered with feathers. Only remnants of the original feathers survive. Mounted on a modern metal stand for display purposes which goes with the decoy. SIZE: Wingspan: 16″. Body 7-1/2″. Total on stand: 11-1/2″ h. CONDITION: As stated above. 9-90469 (1,500-2,500)
