DAUM NANCY CAMEO & ENAMELED BASKET. Exceptional Daum basket is surrounded by cameo decoration of flowers, stems and leaves. Cameo work is beautifully enameled with red and purple flowers and beautifully detailed leaves with an intricate cluster of cameo spider webs connecting the stems. The cameo decoration is set against a mottled light blue background with an internal mottled yellow band. The basket is finished with an arching acid textured handle. Signed on the underside with engraved signature “Daum Nancy” with Cross of Lorraine. SIZE: 7-1/4” t. CONDITION: Handle has crack where it is attached to basket. 8-87585 (3,000-5,000)
