DEVEZ FRENCH CAMEO VASE. Rare canal scene vase gives the idea of looking through a portico with its thickly structured columns and wisteria vines. Viewed through the open areas are water, sailing vessels, and gondolas with gondoliers. Also shown are hitching posts in the foreground and a city in the background. The colors are phenomenal yellows, frost, and chartreuse with cobalt blue and the interior having an iridescent finish. Signed in cameo to side “deVez” SIZE: 16″ t.
