TIFFANY STUDIOS DAFFODIL TABLE LAMP. This lamp begins with a shade referred to as “The long stemmed daffodil”. The daffodils rest atop extremely long stems which reach almost to the top of the shade. The flowers are nicely mottled lemon yellow with the center cups being vibrant textured orange glass. The glass used in the stems is a deep translucent green, while the background glass is mottled green and white. The shade is supported by a highly unusual bronze base with three arms and a step pedestal foot. This canister style base has been converted from kerosene to electricity. The overall lamp carries a desirable patina finish. The shade is signed with a small tag “Tiffany Studios New York”. Base is signed on the canister, “Tiffany Studios New York 25904” and has the Tiffany Glass and Decorating logo. Also signed “A.A. Vantine & Co 877 Broadway N.Y.”. SIZE: Shade is 16″ dia. Lamp is 22″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with very few, if any hairlines to shade. 5-62018 (30,000-40,000)
