Made of bronze with an original dull gold dore finish, this paperclip shows the Spanish pattern which consists of flames atop an urn surrounded by an intricate woven pattern. The Spanish desk set is so highly coveted by collectors that it is used as the cover jacket for the book Tiffany Desk Treasures A Collector’s Guide by George A. Kemeny & Donald Miller. This item is so rare that it is not pictured in any of the reference books we found and is only documented in original list of Tiffany Studios items. Signed “Tiffany Studios New York 2000”.
