TIFFANY STUDIOS SPANISH PAPER RACK. The central design of the Spanish pattern depicts a medieval decoration with animals that blend into decorative accents, tails of winged dragons blend into ornate foliage and turn into fish. The center medallion of this two tiered paper rack shows two children facing each other. Finishing this paper rack is an arabesque reference to Spain’s Moorish conquerors. This example has a gold dore finish with allover enameled highlights. Spanish pattern paper rack is considered by many collectors to be the best of all Tiffany desk set patterns and pieces are even shown on the cover of the book Tiffany Desk Treasures by Kemeny & Miller.
