HANDEL OBVERSE & REVERSE PAINTED LAMP. Very early shade is painted to exterior with a green teroma finish replicating foliage. The interior is painted in beautiful soft blue palette showing mountains, lake and marsh. Shade is signed on interior “Handel 5939” and artist signed “HB” for Henrie Bedigie. Shade is supported by a nicely patinated bulbous form base with floral decoration and teak looking platform foot and is finished with three sockets, top cap and finial. SIZE: Shade is 16″ dia. Overall 22″ t. CONDITION: Shade has several cracks and has been glued and stapled. Base is very nice with two replaced pull chains. 5-69998 (800-1,200)
