FINE GEORGE III INLAID MAHOGANY PEMBROKE TABLE. Fourth quarter 18th century English. The rectangular top with hinged D-form leaves with wide satinwood banding framed by contrasting string inlaid borders, the edge with rosewood cross banding. The frieze fitted with single drawer opposing a simulated drawer raised on square tapered legs bordered with string inlays, terminating in brass-capped casters. SIZE: 29-1/4″h. x 19-1/2″ w. closed 40-1/2″w. open x 30″d. CONDITION: Professionally restored, now with a fine French polish. Overall very good. 9-20102 (1,200-1,800)
