FIVE ENAMELED COMPACTS. Lot consists of five beautifully enameled compacts, four of which are guilloche enamel with hand painted floral decoration against the engine turned background. The fifth is a 1920s sterling compact with the lid enameled showing an Egyptian scene of houses near water, palm trees and pyramids in the background. This compact is marked “Houbigani France”. Two of the compacts are complete with powder and puffs, the remaining are not. SIZE: Range from 2″ to 2-3/8″ dia. PROVENANCE: From the Estate of Geraldine Gaba, Scottsdale, AZ. CONDITION: The white compact has a chip to the enamel at one edge and a cracked mirror, others are very good to excellent. 5-68287-3 (300-500)
