HANDEL SCENIC TABLE LAMP. Circa 1918. This reverse painted scenic lamp depicts a forest and continuous landscape at sunset. Clumps of birch trees and thick vegetation in deep earthen hues of greens and browns are set against a fiery orange and yellow sky. Shade is supported by an original bulbous Handel base with four large square feet, three sockets with acorn pull chains and top and finial complete the lamp. Shade is signed “Handel 6625”. Base is unsigned. SIZE: Shade is 18″ dia. Overall 25″ t. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent. Base is very good with wear to patina finish. 5-60128 (5,000-7,000)
