HANDEL FLORAL & BUTTERFLY TABLE LAMP. Reverse painted domical shade has a plethora of five petaled flowers in colors of pinks, whites, blues and purple set against a pastel, yet colorful background of yellows and pinks, purples and apricots. The shade is also decorated with two butterflies. This shade is truly a fine example of the handcrafted work created by Handel during the early part of the 20th Century. Although unsigned and unnumbered, the shade is reminiscent of Handel’s 6688 shade. This shade is supported by a three column Art Nouveau base that carries a deep chocolate brown finish, three acorn pulls, sockets, top cap and finial. Shade is signed in the ring “Handel Lamps” with patent number. SIZE: Shade is 18″ dia. Overall 22-1/2″ t. CONDITION: Shade is very good to excellent with one small paint skip to edge of shade.
