HEPPLEWHITE INLAID MAHOGANY BEAU BRUMMEL. English, Late 18th/early 19th Century. The crossbanded rectangular top comprised of opposing hinged lids opening to an interior nicely fitted with lidded boxes and compartments, centering an adjustable dressing mirror, the frieze with a simulated cock-beaded long drawer above a working similar drawer, raised on tapering square legs with string-inlaid outlines fitted with original brass-capped casters.
