FINE ITALIAN FAIENCE PAVILLION GARNITURE. First half of the 19th century. The table centerpiece, a polychrome decorated domed pavillion, the roof with pierced fretwork, supported by pairs of blue and white marbleized columns, the central archways decorated with applied porcelain flower garlands. The whole joined to a conforming base painted to simulate a geometric parquet floor, within a black painted border. SIZE: 22″ h. x 12″ l. x 12-1/4″ w. CONDITION: This early example in very good condition overall. With minor professional restoration to columns. Some losses to flower petals and leaftips in archways. The floor professionally repainted over original surface. 9-94189 (5,000-10,000)
