PENNSYLVANIA QUEEN ANNE WALNUT TILT TOP TEA TABLE. Second half 18th century, probably Philadelphia. The figural circular top, hinged and tilting on an urn and ring-turned standard, joined to a tripod cabriole like base, terminating in flattened platform pad feet. SIZE: 26″ h x 30″ d. CONDITION: The top, with old seam split. One leg with old break and repair beneath knee, a second leg reattached to pedestal at joint. With old conforming repair to base of pedestal. Table retains early surfaces with rich patina. 9-27445 (400-600)
