AMERICAN CLASSICAL MAHOGANY MARBLE TOP PIER TABLE. Second quarter 19th century. Rectangular white marble top with rounded edges above the conforming cove molded and arched figural mahogany frieze, supported by frontal S-scroll legs. The back panel with triple mirror plate joined by an incurved medial shelf raised on acanthus carved claw feet. SIZE: 37-1/4″ h x 43″ w x 18-3/4″ d. CONDITION: Professionally repolished over cleaned original surfaces. Marble with minor surface scratches. Blued mirror plate appears original with foxing. Very good overall. 9-98153 (2,500-4,000)
