MOCHAWARE COVERED CHAMBER POT WITH LOOPING EARTHWORM DECORATION. Mid 19th century. English. The pale blue, white, and dark brown looping earthworm on a light green field with brown striped borders and slate blue bands applied with a C-scroll handle, the upper rim everted and decorated with pale green, slate blue, and chocolate brown fish eye decoration, the associated lid applied with a D-form handle. SIZE: 7″ overall h. 9″ d. of lid. CONDITION: The pot in very good condition overall with shallow chip on upper rim edge. The lid with multiple chips on inner and outer rims a hairline crack extending around the applied handle. Chafed glaze loss at edge of green band. 9-99904 (700-900)
