TIFFANY STUDIOS PEONY TABLE LAMP. Fully leaded shade depicts many peony flowers in various stages of bloom. The colors used in the petals are striated reds, mauves and pinks with touches of blue and purple on one side having large white, pink and purple peonies in full bloom on the other side. The smaller buds are basically pink and many of the eyes are yellow. Spread in amongst the flowers are stems of green striated glass representing the stems and foliage. The background glass is exceptionally beautiful in various shades of blue. The shade is finished with a narrow apron of two horizontal rows in aqua glass containing a small border of stems and foliage pieces with more of the background glass. The shade is supported by an adjustable decorated library base with vertical ribbing to center shaft and Art Nouveau shell and foliage pattern to cushion base atop four curved feet. The base is completed with six sockets and an original pierced top cap. Base is signed “Tiffany Studios New York 357”. Shade is signed with tags to inside rim “Tiffany Studios New York”. SIZE: Shade is 22″ dia. Lamp is 32″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with only a few tight hairlines to shade. 5-61901 (150,000-200,000)
