DUFFNER & KIMBERLY FRENCH RENAISSANCE TABLE LAMP. Large vertical green panels of striated glass have alternating smaller rows of caramel glass with a single horizontal band of glass in complimentary greens. The ornate border is finished with a decorative floral and medallion pattern. The shade is basically made up of the same colors and glass throughout, however it is the intricate pattern that makes it come to life. The shade is supported by an ornate three socket base with an Art Nouveau acanthus leaf and floral decoration. It is complete with a trademark pierced heart top cap and finial. The entire lamp carries a gold finish. Base is signed on the riser “The Duffner & Kimberly Company New York” with logo in the center. This lamp may be further referenced in the book Mosaic Shades Vol. II by Paul Crist, pg. 196. SIZE: Shade is 18″ dia. Overall 21-1/2″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with few tight hairlines to leaded glass. Wear to base commensurate with age. 5-60577 (10,000-15,000)
