LOT OF TWO LARGE SHOTGUN FLASKS. (1) American flask & cap, Riling #587. Dbl sided with repoussed vignette of Indian shooting buffalo from horseback, surrounded by oak leaves & acorns with a fox head at the bottom and a moose or elk head at the top. It has four small ring hangers. CONDITION: Very fine. Traces of orig finish, one or two very minor dents, slightly open seam. (2) Hawksley, Riling #577. Dbl sided with deep repoussed oak leaves & acorns with a fox head at the bottom, a moose or elk head at the top and four small ring hangers. The maker’s name is on the spout. CONDITION: Extremely fine. Retains about 90% orig finish with a minor scratch or two. Some light corrosion around the two bottom hangers and no discernable dents.
