FOUR BONE & IVORY NECKLACES. 1) Carved ivory necklace with center pendant of a carved ivory octopus suspended from a 30″ ivory bead chain. Interspersed along the chain are 6 carved ivory netsuke figures of rabbits, turtles, octopus and rat. 2) Bone and silver 20″ necklace with bone beads ending with a three-part pendant of carved bone with a silver elephant suspended from each section. 3) Carved bone and ivory 22″ necklace with ivory disc beads at the top leading to a five strand section at the bottom with bone and ivory beads, carved elephants and carved decorated beads. Finished with hook and eye clasp. 4) Single 22″ strand of heishe beads supporting 15 carved ivory frogs of graduated size, each having black enameled eyes. Necklace is finished with a silver hook and eye clasp. PROVENANCE: From the Estate of Geraldine Gaba, Scottsdale, AZ. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-68381 (400-600)
