HANDEL BLACK BIRD LAMP. Handel table lamp has reverse painted shade with colorful exotic birds with yellow, purple, orange and blue feathers against a black background. Shade is further decorated with colorful, yet subtle, flowers in bright green, yellow, pink and orange. Exterior of shade has a chipped ice finish. Shade rests on a large Handel base with stylized leaf design decorating the sides. Base has a three-light cluster and has a dark brown finish. Shade is signed on interior lip “Handel 7026” as well as artist signed “Broggi”. Base is signed on the bottom in stamped block letters “HANDEL”. SIZE: Shade is 17-5/8″ dia. Lamp is 25-1/4″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent with some minor blistering to finish on base. 5-66941 (10,000-12,000)
