C.E. COGGSHALL MAKER MARKED GUN RIG. Single loop holster for 4-3/4″ Colt SA with oval mark reading “C.E. COGGSHALL / MILES CITY, MONT.” with central star design. Vine & dot border tooling on body of holster. Orig muzzle plug. 3-1/4″ wide belt x 35-1/2″ long overall has matching maker’s mark on billet and 45 cal. loops PROVENANCE: David Crocker Estate Collection. CONDITION: Overall varies from fair to very good. Mark on holster is faint along right side. Several areas of re-stitching at trigger guard and muzzle plug. Color is bright and retains most of orig finish. Belt shows major areas of age cracking, missing several loops, fragile in spots along top edge and billet. Billet end has been trimmed and is cracked at holes. Darkening in spots. 4-36823 BJL2 (4,000-6,000)
