HENRY NORDHAUS MARKED GUN RIG. . Matching belt & money/cartridge belt for 4-3/4″ Colt single action. Holster is jock strap style with oval mark bearing “HENRY NORDHAUS / MAKER / DEMING, NM” and “45” mark above oval. Holster has orig hammer thong attached beneath loop. Belt is 3-1/4″ wide and 41″ overall length. Belt has embossed style edge tooling at bottom and correct clip corner buckle. Rectangular maker mark reading “HENRY NORDHAUS / MAKER / DEMING N.M.” on billet beneath “45” marking. PROVENANCE: David Crocker Estate Collection. CONDITION: Overall fair. Holster shows major age cracking and loss to finish especially on maker’s mark. Slight tear at bottom of jock strap attachment. Belt has age cracking on body but retains all correct 45 cal. loops. Billet is cracked at rivet and appears trimmed at end. Color is a nice even russet to reddish brown overall. 4-36828 BJL1 (3,500-4,500)
