PENNSYLVANIA PAINT-DECORATED WINDSOR STYLE CRICKET. 1st quarter 19th century. Small plank footstool polychrome paint-decorated with stylized tulips and floral sprays. Painted on a black ground, fitted with canted cylindrical legs. SIZE: 5-1/2″ h. x 13-1/2″ l. x 8″ w. CONDITION: Structurally very good. Crackled painted surfaces, very much intact. Retains vibrant colors, minor wear to corner of plank. 9-99356 (600-1,200)
