FULL BODY COPPER RUNNING HORSE WEATHERVANE. Late 19th century. Attributed to A.L. Jewell & Co., Waltham, Massachusetts. With verdigris surfaces and remnants of old gilding. With zinc head and sheet tail. Not offered with a stand. SIZE: 17″h x 27-1/2″l. CONDITION: Generally good but with repair to tail, replacement of proper left ear and with filled bullet hole at chest. Gilding has been scraped on proper right side of neck. 9-24704 (2,000-2,500)
