EDWARD ALGERNON STUART DOUGLAS (BRITISH, 1850-Died Circa 1920) AFTER THE HUNT. Oil on canvas fox hunting scene shows five riders on horses (four men & one woman) dressed in traditional hunting attire. One is leaving the group and tipping his hat. The group of hounds intermix amongst the horses & riders. The background is the setting sun sky. Signed lower right “EAS Douglas”. Housed in a modern gilt fancy frame with gilt liner. SIZE: 18″ x 24″. CONDITION: Relined with some inpainting, very good. 9-23500 (4,000-6,000)
