FINE NEW ENGLAND INLAID MAHOGANY PEMBROKE TABLE. Circa 1810. Probably northeastern Massachusetts or New Hampshire. Figured mahogany rectangular top with hinged double elliptic hinged leaves all with double string inlay above conforming frieze, fitted with single cross banded drawer with bird’s-eye maple panel and opposing sham drawer, raised on square tapering legs, each with bird’s-eye maple panels, cross banded ankles and string inlaid borders. SIZE: 29″ h x 36″ d x 24-1/2″ width closed, width open 46″. CONDITION: Very fine with old professional re-polish. 9-24793 (3,000-4,000)
