UNSIGNED (European, 19th Century) DIVINE INTERVENTION. Watercolor on paper mounted on board scene shows a Saint putting a hold on a beheading which is in process. Three figures are kneeling & blindfolded while a swordsman wields a long sword. The background is a large castle with hills. Housed in a Victorian walnut frame. SIZE: 8″ x 10″.
