NEW ENGLAND FEDERAL INLAID MAPLE AND MAHOGANY BOW FRONT CHEST. Circa 1810, Massachusetts or coastal New Hampshire. Rectangular top with bow front above the conforming case fitted with four long, graduated drawers, each with three aligned panels, veneered with Birdseye maple with mahogany banding, the edges cock beaded. Each fitted with an arrowhead escutcheon above a swelled apron with central oval patera raised on tall, slender, French feet. SIZE: 40-1/2″h x 41″w x 22″d.
