REMINGTON BELT MODEL SINGLE ACTION PERCUSSION REVOLVER. Cal. 36 Perc. SN 2655. Blued bbl, 6-1/2” oct bbl, crisp markings, pinched front sight, silvered brass triggerguard, 2-pc smooth walnut grips. This is a nice single action belt model, probably made after the Civil War since it has the “REMINGTONS’” on the bbl. It probably was made from a leftover Civil War bbl part. There is a small “E” stamped on triggerguard and “C” on the frame. CONDITION: Strong traces of orig blue on bbl. Restored blue on the balance of parts. Grips show wear at the bottom with new varnish over the top. Bore is dark. Mechanically fine. 4-59400 JH142 (750-1,250)
