AMERICAN ETHAN ALLEN FULL BODIED COPPER HORSE WEATHERVANE. Circa 1900. This full bodied gilded example with a zinc head in a trotting stance with old gilded surfaces. Accompanied by a modern iron stand. SIZE: 17″ h of vane x 29-1/2″ l. CONDITION: Later gilded surfaces over earlier verdigris surfaces. Damage to proper right ear, old professional repairs to tail at body and to seams. Gilding losses throughout. Structurally overall good. 9-98450 (2,500-3,000)
