OPALESCENT ART GLASS BOWL. Very interesting art glass bowl has opalescent back with front showing amber shading to red at the rim. Back is impressed with root-like lines extending from the center to the edge. Bowl is signed in the polished pontil “LC Tiffany 187C” however we do not believe this to be a Tiffany bowl. It more likely would have been produced by Nash. SIZE: 11-1/4″ dia. PROVENANCE: A gift to the Maine State Museum being sold to benefit the museum’s acquisition fund. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-61584 (200-400)
