HANDEL BOUDOIR LAMP. Boudoir lamp begins with a conical reverse painted shade in a Venetian scene. The watercolor palette features sailing boats and a gondola with Venice in the background. Background colors are soft yellow shading to pink, red, green and blue. Shade is supported by a nicely patinated tree trunk base having a single socket, with acorn pull. Shade is signed “Handel 5925”. Base is impressed on the underside “Handel”. SIZE: Shade is 7″ dia. Lamp is 14-3/4″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-64742 (1,750-2,250)
