ALBERTUS VERHOESEN (Netherlands, 1806-1881) TWO WORKS: POULTRY IN LANDSCAPES. Oil on wood panels identically housed in white painted gesso decorated frames with gilt liners. One showing a rooster and hen with chicks nesting in a woven basket with straw in landscape. Signed bottom left and dated “1873”. The second showing chickens and a peacock next to a brick wall in landscape. Signed lower left and dated “1875”. SIZE: 5-1/4″ x 7″. CONDITION: Very good. 9-97118 (6,000-7,000)
