WILLIAM PETERS WATSON (British, 1883-1932) HIGHLAND SHEEP. Outstanding oil on canvas scene shows eight large sheep in a highland setting with mountains and lake. Nice detail to the hillside and sheep. Another flock resides on lower hilltop. Signed lower right “W Watson 1909″. Housed in its magnificent original frame with its gilt liner having an artist tag.
