JOHN HALEY BELLAMY CARVED MASONIC MIRROR. Late 19th century. This fine example carved in walnut and centering a tombstone mirror with gilt slip. Carved overall with Masonic symbols and flanked by columns. A nearly identical example can be found in John Haley Bellamy Carver of Eagles by Yvonne Brault Smith on page 91. SIZE: 31-5/8″ h x 22-1/4″ w. CONDITION: Very fine condition, this well carved example with a minor break and repair in center of lower apron beneath arrowhead, now reinforced with a metal bracket.
