DAUM WINTER SCENE VASE. Large Daum vase is decorated with a cameo and enamel winter scene with barren trees surrounding the entire vase. The trees are nicely enameled with details of the bark and areas of snow on the limbs while the ground is heavily enameled depicting layers of snow. The decoration is set against a mottled reddish orange background. Signed on the underside in black enamel “Daum Nancy”, with the Cross of Lorraine. SIZE: 14″ t. CONDITION: Very good with some minor wear to enamel to one tree near the lip. 5-66740 (9,000-12,000)
