WROUGHT AND SHEET IRON HARPOON WEATHERVANE. Late 19th, early 20th century, New England. This nice folk art example of a New England weathervane fashioned in the shape of a harpoon point. Sheet iron tail section fashioned as “waves”. The whole with a central spire. Mounted on a painted wood base. SIZE: Vane: 16-3/4″ h x 44″ l. CONDITION: Generally good with some deterioration to sheet iron. 9-26433 (500-700)
