Unsigned oil on canvas 19th Century scene showing a castle below waterfalls with large river, mountains, and valley dotted with houses under blue & white cloud sky. The painting is housed in a gesso decorated gilt period frame with top crest housing a 6-1/4″ dia. clock with white dial, single winding hole. The clock retaining its original pendulum which falls into the back housing of the frame which is accessed by a hinged panel. SIZE: 34″ h x 33-1/2″ w. CONDITION: No key, clock in unknown working order, small chip to dial, painting & frame in very good condition. 9-25054 (800-1,200)
