IMPORTANT DANIEL & MARY WILLIAMS FAMILY REGISTER. Second quarter 19th century, New Bedford. This rare American example depicting a family in portraiture done in watercolor. Rendered in three rows, the uppermost depicting Daniel & Mary Williams, centering a portrait of their youngest daughter Angelina. The middle row depicting three daughters, Mary Ann, Elizabeth and Emily. The bottom row depicting three sons, Solomon, Christopher and Joshua. Each portrait in variations of period dress, each beneath a banner, and all flanked by floral sprigs. Housed in a period lemon gold frame. SIZE: 18-1/2″ x 13-1/2″ sight. CONDITION: Overall very good with minor and minimal foxing. Some fading. 9-98121 (7,500-12,500)
