HANDEL MOUNTAIN PANEL SCENE LAMP. Rare Handel six ribbed panel lamp depicts a glorious mountain scene. Each panel begins with a soft teal color representing the sky that gently recedes into a golden yellow color representing the sun as it sets behind the mountain range. The mountains are painted to represent snow covered peaks with purple hues representing the mid ground and green depicting the numerous pine trees. This is an extremely rare shade. The base is a three socket center baluster form of simple styling. The shade is signed “Handel 6272 27” the rim is signed “Handel Pat’d No. 929564” and the base is impressed “Handel”. SIZE: Shade 18″ in diameter. Lamp is 23″ t. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-69098 (15,000-20,000)
