SILAS HOADLEY CONNECTICUT TALL CASE CLOCK. 1st Quarter 19th Century. Plymouth, CT. The arched and molded bonnet with scrolling crest flanked by two brass ball and spire finials. Wooden dial painted with a primitive landscape within the arch, “S. HOADLEY PLYMOUTH” above the “5-6-7″ chapter ring numerals over a masonic emblem. The faux rosewood grained case raised on French feet. SIZE: 85-1/2″ h. Throat width is 12-3/4”. Overall 8-1/2″ d.
