FINE FRENCH MARBLE TOP DEMILUNE TABLE WITH ORMOLU MOUNTS. Late 19th century. The demilune rose marble top set within a gilt metal ribbon-tied valance, the conforming frieze with ormolu garlands above a gilt metal rope edge. The ends of the apron mounted with female masks raised on three tapering cylindrical legs, the center most mounted with a gilt bronze swan. Each leg wrapped in gilt brass garlands. The three legs joined by a cast bronze “T” form stretcher joined by a floral rosette. Raised on out swept cast brass paw feet, each stamped “FRANCE”. SIZE: 26-1/2″ h x 21″ l x 11″ d.
