TIFFANY STUDIOS MOORISH DOUBLE STUDENT LAMP. Early Tiffany Studios double student lamp has twisted rope Moorish designs applied to the sides of the cylindrical font as well as the base. The base has a stylized flower design with the petals being decorated with applied pebbles. The outside edge is finished with four horizontal rows of twisted rope. The base supports two Tiffany decorated gold favrile shades with strong purple, blue and green highlights. One shade is marked “G14”, the other marked “G19”. Base is unsigned. SIZE: Shades are 10″ dia. Overall 29-1/2″ t. CONDITION: One shade has been broken and professionally restored. The other shade has two flakes on the top rim. Base is missing the applied decoration to the top of the foot, one shade ring has old solder repair and lamp has been electrified. 5-60544 (7,000-10,000)
