SEMI-ANTIQUE SHIRVAN CARPET, SOUTH CAUCASUS. Circa 1900. Two conjoined stepped brick red medallions with a central stylized tree-form device within an indigo field with zigzag crenelated borders, two stylized birds within. The main border of blues and reds with zigzag pointillated fretwork. SIZE: 4′ 3″ x 5′ 11″. CONDITION: With even wear overall with small areas of professional re-weaving now faded and visible.
