MOSER MONUMENTAL DECORATED VASE. Monumental cranberry vase is enameled with an intricate design of a heron by a stream. The enamel work was painstakingly created in realistic hues of white, grey and brown which represent the heron. Minute detailing is given so the eye, beak, feathers and muscles come to life in this strong bird. While the heron design is predominant the trees, stream and foliage are well represented in realistic earthen hues. Going further with the heron design are two smaller birds on the collar and one on the reverse side of body. The vase also has two applied glass handles with an enameled foliage design. The vase ends with a large circular foot with gold and white detailing. SIZE: 20″ t. PROVENANCE: From a private west Texas collection. CONDITION: Very good to excellent. 5-65956 (8,000-12,000)
