TWO ENGLISH TEA CADDIES. 1.) George III octagonal form, satinwood with conch shell patera top, acorn & leaf patera front as well as string and banded inlays, with ivory escutcheon; 2.) Early 19th century rectangular form rosewood and banded ebony & satinwood inlay. SIZE: 1.) 5″h x 4 3/4″w x 4″d; 2.) 4 1/2″h x 8″w x 4 3/4″d CONDITION: 1.) a few cracks and repairs to veneer, interior removed and painted; 2.) cracks in banded inlay, relined in green baize. 9-28238 (300-400)
