OUTSTANDING LARGE GEORGIAN STERLING TWO-HANDLED OVAL FOOTED CENTER BOWL. 1800/1, possibly by John Moore. The large oval bowl having two extended curving handles, the bowl lifted on a raised base, the whole having bead rim decoration. Engraved on the side with an armorial crest of lion head with crown on each side. WEIGHT: 60 tr. oz. SIZE: 10-1/2″ h x 18-3/4″ w x 9″ d. PROVENANCE: Woolworth Family, (F.W. Woolworth Department Store). CONDITION: Generally very good with some small dings. 9-24664 (3,000-5,000)
