NEW ENGLAND CHIPPENDALE INLAID MAHOGANY BOWFRONT CHEST. Late 18th century. The wide rectangular top with banded and string inlaid edges and bow front above the conforming case fitted with four graduated drawers, all with string inlaid panels and fan spandrels, the edges cockbeaded. On a molded apron raised on bracket feet with shaped and scalloped returns. SIZE: 39″ h x 42″ w x 26″ d. CONDITION: Professionally restored and repolished. Brass handles original.
